Practicing Together

Practicing together, even through Zoom, is a powerful way to stay committed to our practice and fosters connections and mutual support. These sessions are open to anyone interested in meditation. During the weekly drop-in meditation sessions we explore a range of techniques, strategies and themes, often influenced by the teachings of my primary teacher, Shinzen Young, and his Unified Mindfulness system which I'm trained as a Teacher/Trainer.

I appreciate how effectively mindfulness practices help us tease apart and focus on different aspects of our experience (thoughts, emotions, sensations etc.) in a way that can settle the mind, offer relief, enhance fulfillment and lessen the ‘somethingness’ of self. My aim is to share techniques and strategies that will help us be happier people, regardless of the particular reason we’re drawn to practice.
